À propos de cet article
(5/6) TAMRA-SE (5-(and-6)-Carboxytetramethylrhodamine succinimidyl ester, mixed isomers) is based on tetramethylrhodamine, one of the most common fluorophores used in the labeling of peptides, proteins, nucleic acids and nucleotides.
The NHS-ester group provides the simplest and most commonly used group for labeling proteins. The succinimidyl ester group reacts with primary amines in lysine side chains and N-terminal amines on the protein to result in the formation of a stable, covalent amide bond.
G-Biosciences' HOOK™ (5/6) TAMRA-SE absorbs green visible light at 546 nm and emits an orange-red visible light at a maximum emission of 575 nm.
G-Biosciences' HOOK™ Dye Labeling Kit (TAMRA) provides all reagents needed to perform 5 labeling reactions. The kit is provided with a dye reagent, a ready-to-use buffer for performing labeling reaction, and SpinOUT™ desalting columns, for the rapid removal of unconjugated dye.
For researcher's convenience, G-Biosciences also offers the HOOK™ (5/6) TAMRA-SE Labeling Reagent in preweighed, single use form. Eight vials of OneQuant™ TAMRA are supplied.
