G-Biosciences' Yeast Geno-DNA-Template™ extraction kit isolates high quality genomic DNA from yeast cultures

G-Biosciences' kit is based on a two-step lysis of yeast cells, using LongLife™ Zymolyase® and LongLife™ Proteinase K, followed by the removal of proteins and other cellular impurities by precipitation and centrifugation. The clean, genomic DNA is collected by precipitation and the high yield of extracted DNA has an average 100 kb length and has A₂₆₀/A₂₈₀ 1.8-2.0.

G-Biosciences' Yeast Geno-DNA-Template™ kit is supplied with reagents for extracting DNA from 100 x 1.5 mL yeast cultures.

The kit is compatible with PCR and other downstream applications.
