G-Biosciences' Protein-Fre™ Blocking Buffer is offered in four convenient ready-to-use formats, with or without detergent: supplied either in TBS buffer (Tris-buffered saline at pH 7.5) or PBS buffer (phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.5), as well as in separate formulations that contain G-Biosciences' detergent Tween®-20 for improving blocking efficiencies.

The absence of protein from the Protein-Free™ Blocking Buffer eliminates problems associated with traditional protein based blockers, such as cross-reactivity and interference from glycosylated proteins.
