About this item
Heavy duty bottles, made of PYREX® borosilicate glass, with orange PP linerless, one-piece autoclavable plug seal screw with a drip-free pouring ring.
- Permanent white enamel graduations with marking spots
- Glass bead indicates full capacity line
- Very good temperature resistance, very good chemical resistance
Graduated, are used for storage as well as mixing and sampling.
Further colour-coded PP caps, PBT caps, ETFE pouring rings (for dry heat sterilization (180 °C)), and vented membrane caps are available.
Caution: Do not tighten cap immediately after autoclaving as the vacuum resulting from cooling can cause breakage. Bottles larger than 2 L should not be used with bottle top filter units or in other applications involving vacuum pressure as breakage may occur. A vented cap is not recommended for use on the 5 and 10 L bottles for venting during autoclaving.
