Small, reliable furnaces meet the specific needs of schools, as well as chemical and industrial laboratories
- Selectable self-tuning feature sets best control parameters for the thermal process
- PID control (proportional, integral, derivative) prevents overshoot
- Main power ON/OFF switch ON control panel
- Controlled heat-up rate eliminates thermal shock to materials
- Quick heat-up and cool-down rates
- Adjustable high-limit overtemperature protection
- Simultaneous LED display of actual temperature vs. setpoint
- Can be configured to display temperature in either °C or °F Side-hinge door for convenient operation and full chamber access
- Long-life Type K thermocouple
- Air vent (1". dia., top) and air inlet (0.375". dia., rear) for inert atmosphere exchange
Choose from two types of digital controllers. All controllers display the actual and setpoint temperatures simultaneously. Furnaces with a programmable controller offer 16 programmable segments as well as user-defined proportional, integral, and derivative values. Both available controllers offer over-temperature protection.
Maximum temperature is 1100 °C. All units are UL listed.
Constructed using Moldatherm®, Lindberg/Blue M’s unique ceramic fiber insulation and heating element composite, which helps to maintain uniform heat within the chamber. Low temperature outer shell is achieved through double shell construction. All Moldatherm box furnaces feature a safety door switch system that disconnects the heating unit from the power supply when the door is opened.
