These ball mills pulverize and mix soft, medium-hard, and extremely hard as well as brittle and fibrous materials

Mills produce extremely high centrifugal forces with very high pulverization energies, which results in short grinding times. The powerful and maintenance-free mill drive guarantees a constant controlled speed even during continuous operation in long-term trials at maximum loads. The graphics display allows 10 combinations of speed, grinding time, and interval settings to be stored for continually repeated grinding processes. Mills feature safety plastic housing with automatic cover closure and forced ventilation of chamber for applications requiring solvents.

The “comfort” grinding jars feature safe, nonslip seating with built-in anti-rotation device and conical base centering; an O-ring for gasproof and dustproof seal; gripping flanges on beaker and lid; an identification tag with serial number, material, and volume; and a labeling field for sample identification.

Both wet and dry grinding is possible. Mills are ideal for size reduction, mixing, homogenizing, colloidal milling, and mechanical alloying. The PM 100 is a single-station unit suitable for jars from 50 to 500mL. The PM 200 is a dual-station unit suitable for jars from 50 to 125mL.
