These cassettes with lids are made of a high-density acetal polymer and keep specimens safely submerged in liquid
The one-piece integral lid eliminates the need for separate steel lids. It can be opened and closed as often as necessary and will relock securely without danger of specimen loss. Large labeling areas are located on three sides of the cassette. The anterior writing area is at a 45° angle, making the cassette more compatible with automated cassette printers.
Cassettes are totally resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents. Cassettes have 0.38mm square openings, allowing for maximum fluid exchange without having to use biopsy pads. Large anterior and posterior slots in both the cassette and the cover ensure that the cassette will sink rapidly. Cassettes are 6mm high and feature a 27mm square compartment for needle biopsies. The cover does not protrude above the cassette, allowing more cassettes to be stacked in automatic labeling machines and tissue processors.
Ordering information: Available in 11 noncytotoxic, nonmetallic colors and three fluorescent colors. Each case contains four dispenser boxes of 250 cassettes with the lids closed.
