This polymerase is a 94 kDa premium-quality recombinant form of Taq DNA polymerase.

This thermostable enzyme is suitable for a wide range of PCR applications. To ensure the highest purity and reproducible performance, each preparation is extensively tested in a variety of quality control assays. NovaTaq DNA Polymerase possesses an integral 5'–3' exonuclease and lacks a 3'–5' exonuclease activity. The enzyme leaves single 3' nucleotide overhangs that make the products suitable for cloning by T–vector or U–vector methods.
