Plastic snap cap vials are molded from rigid-wall, FDA compliant styrene with tight fitting polyethylene snap-on caps. Plastic snap cap container vials are excellent for storing dry materials, powders, tablets and more.

There are approximately 16 drams per fluid ounce. The 7 dram size may be used with automatic cell counters for collection of sample and, where venous samples are used, for dilution purposes. The maximum operating temperature for polystyrene snap cap vials is 70 °C. The LDPE snap caps will withstand temperatures to 80 °C.
