About this item
The ProSolo handheld represents the evolution of YSI's line of portable Dissolved Oxygen field meters. It replaces the ProODO as YSI's most advanced optical dissolved oxygen field meter and is ideal for a diverse range of applications that include aquaculture, coastal, estuary, wastewater, and wetland sampling.
- Rugged, waterproof case (IP-67 rated)
- Military-spec (MS) cable connector
- Simple and quick calibration procedures
- Long-life rechargeable lithium-ion battery that is user-replaceable
- Single cable design for probe assembly lengths ranging from 1 to 100 meters
- Large onboard memory with storage capacity for over 100,000 data sets
- Data export directly to an included USB flash drive
- Ergonomic handheld for a comfortable grip
- Easy-to-read color display and backlit keypad
- Site ID and Data ID tag capabilities for data organization
Connect the ProSolo handheld to any ODO/T or ODO/CT probe assembly for a complete sampling system. These probe assemblies are user-replaceable with cable lengths ranging from 1 to 100 meters. The ProSolo can also be connected to the ProOBOD Optical BOD 2 meter probe for laboratory testing.
Advantages of the optical sensor technology:
- Higher accuracy; no stir dependence
- Less drift over time; holds calibration longer
- Less maintenance; no membranes or electrolyte
In addition to utilizing the most advanced DO sensing technology, the ProSolo incorporates smart sensor technology that enables sensors to be automatically recognized by the handheld. These sensors store calibration data meaning that probe assemblies can be swapped between handhelds without the need for re-calibration.
