À propos de cet article
Purified Monkey IgG is the lyophilized powder of monkey IgG and buffer salts.
- Positive control in antibody identification screening techniques
- ELISA coating antigen and control.
- The product is tested for purity at a minimum of 20 mg/mL using immunoelectrophoresis; No trace of IgA, IgM or non-immunoglobulin serum proteins is detected.
- Total Protein: 10.0 mg/mL, Volume: 2 mL
All blood products should be treated as potentially infectious. The total protein is determined using the Biuret procedure, with bovine albumin as the standard. Each vial is overfilled by approximately 10 percent so that a minimum of 20 mg of monkey IgG is obtained upon reconstitution.
Monkey IgG is purified from pooled monkey serum using multi-step procedures which may include salt fractionation, gel filtration, ion-exchange chromatography and immunoabsorption. The product is dialyzed into 0.01M sodium phosphate, 0.07M sodium chloride, pH 7.3, filtered through a 0.22 μm filter, vialed and lyophilized. No preservative has been added.
Immunoglobulin G (IgG) are antibody molecules. Each IgG is composed of four peptide chains - two heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG has two antigen binding sites. Other Immunoglobulins may be described in terms of polymers with the IgG structure considered the monomer.
Reconstitution: Reconstitute product with 2 mL of deionized or distilled water. Gentle swirling may be used to speed rehydration. Avoid vigorous shaking of the reconstituted material.
