Fiber optic illuminator features a dimmable 150-watt halogen lightsource which produces up to 6450 footcandles at 4.5" working distance.

A dimmer switch enables the operator to select the exact amount of light desired. Even for sensitive jobs such as wire bonding or soldering of fine-pitch components, it delivers plenty of light. The illuminator can be placed on the worksurface in its conventional position, facing the operator, or there are "rubber feet" on its back, placed in a vertical position to occupy an even smaller footprint.
