Taylor-Wharton/Worthington CryoStorage Systems are designed for applications where extremely low temperature storage of biological products is required

They are also appropriate for industrial or other applications where liquid nitrogen temperatures and high capacity are needed. The 10K, 24K and 38K refrigerators are designed for, but not limited to, the laboratory environment. The 10K and 24K feature square, modular cabinets that facilitate grouping several units together in a cryostorage area. The 38K features a cylindrical stainless steel cryochamber. All of the models will accommodate inventory control systems or provide unobstructed storage area for larger product. All models are supplied with casters to enable limited mobility for cleaning purposes. Standard models are equipped with the AutoTend or Kryos electronic liquid level controller that will monitor and control the supply of liquid nitrogen to the unit. The addition of a liquid nitrogen supply and inventory control racks for systematic retrieval of stored product completes the total cryostorage system.

The Laboratory Systems (LS) series is uniquely designed for vial storage in convenient box-type storage racks. They provide maximum holding times, which means lower per vial operating costs and fewer refills. The LS series is suitable for liquid or vapor phase storage. In vapor phase storage, the temperature at the top of the racks is -190 °C. The LS series features rugged construction, ribbed high strength aluminum body, magneformed necktube design and durable paint system. The rack index location ring and internal location fixture with computer compatible box storage is ideal for simple inventory management. Superior vacuum performance with super insulation provides maximum holding times.

The LD series of cryogenic dewars are designed for storing and dispensing small amounts of liquid nitrogen. The LD series features high performance modern construction and advanced insulation materials to assure high thermal efficiency. They feature new rugged construction, ribbed high strength aluminum body, magniformed necktube design and more durable paint system. Easy operation lightweight snap-on cap and necktube assures tight closure and easy access with convenient larger handles. Superior vacuum performance with super insulation provides maximum holding times. Optional equipment for the LD Series includes liquid withdrawal device, tipping stand, dippers and roller base (for some models). The Liquid Withdrawal Device enables the LD25, LD35 and the LD50 to conveniently pressure-transfer liquid nitrogen at rates up to 8 liters per minute. The low pressure (10 psig / 0.7 bar) assures safe dispensing through a phase separator or an accessory transfer hose. Model 80 phase separator comes standard with this device. The Extended Time Series (XT) of cryogenic freezers are designed for long-term storage of a variety of materials at cryogenic temperatures. This series comes with 11" cannisters inside.

The HC series of refrigerators are designed for storing large quantities of a variety of materials at cryogenic temperatures. They provide temperatures of -196 ˚C at the liquid surface, and -190 ˚C at the top of the canisters. The LD series features large storage capacity, rugged construction, ribbed high strength aluminum body, magniformed necktube design and more durable paint. They also feature a numbered index ring and tapered internal canister locator. Superior vacuum performance with super insulation provides maximum holding times. Lockable lid and optional low-level alarm with remote connection capability is available. Roller bases are available for all models. The 3K Liquid Nitrogen Refrigerator features a wide neck opening for easy, unobstructed access to its large storage compartment. This makes the 3K ideal for a wide range of applications including storage and retreival of large folumes of biological specimens and storage of bulky materials. It is also well suited to many industrial applications such as cryoquencing, shrink fitting etc.
