SSC 20X buffer is a ready-to-use standard reagent in Southern and Northern hybridization procedures used to control stringency for the washing steps after hybridization

- Filtered through a 0.22 µm membrane
- DNase, RNase, and Protease tested
SSC 20X is used for several Cell Biology applications such as: preparing DNA and RNA hybridization buffers and post-hybridization membrane washing buffers, hybridization buffer for Northern and Southern blots, and as a washing buffer for Northern and Southern blots.
The concentrated formula can be used straight or diluted to make SSC working solutions with concentrations as low as 0.5X.
Contents: Sodium chloride, sodium citrate dihydrate, molecular biology grade water
Certifications: Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 certifed company in accordance with ISO-14644 and IEST-RP-006.3; meeting standards for ISO Class 8 and ISO Class 7.
