Wheaton CryoELITE® Cryogenic freestanding vials have a Loctagon™ Vial Skirt that provides stability in the freestanding position and locks into the CryoELITE® Benchmate rack in order to provide easy open and close with one hand.
- The cryogenic vials are made from low binding, cryogenic grade virgin polypropylene
The patented unrivaled cap seal exceeds DOT and IATA regulations, ensuring the ultimate level of protection for samples during transportation and demanding free-thaw handling.
The availability of colored caps allows for the color coding of projects along with Wheaton colored freezer and storage boxes. The 2D Data Matrix bar code bottom inserts are for use with CryoELITE® Freestanding cryogenic vials. The 2D insert allows for immediate bar coding of samples. The insert can also be applied to the vial at a future date, which eliminates jeopardizing the integrity of your sample by transferring it to another vial. The 2D Data Matrix bar code insert fits and locks into place in the bottom of the vial. The insert is made of the same polypropylene as the vials themselves and is laser-etched for durability.
The bottom format allows the optional insertion of a Wheaton 2D Data Matrix bar code insert, providing unique indentifiers for traceability.
Certifications: Each lot is certified RNase/DNase and endotoxin free and non-pyrogenic, providing assurance for sample integrity.
Ordering information: Vials are available with either a patented 2' angle plug seal for external thread vials. Both external and internal CryoELITE® closure formats offer unique stop-rims to provide additional security in knowing the cap is securely closed.
