Available in models measuring Baume of syrups and liquids heavier than water in various ranges from 0 to 31°, these 255 mm (10“) long plain form hydrometers contain lead-free ballast. Easy to read black scale on yellow back helps avoid eye fatigue. Each is individually serialized and has a temperature standardization of 60°F (15°C).

: Polycarbonate hydrometers are not recommended for use with petroleum-based liquids or other corrosives that would potentially affect the plastic material. They should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place and should not be subjected to extreme temperatures.
Services: VWR CATALYST™ provides convenient and efficient re-calibration services for your hydrometers with an industry leading 5-day average turn-around time from receipt of your instrument. All the service will be performed by an ISO17025 certified lab. Recalibration, certification and shipping fees are all included in the catalog number cost. Simply order the stated catalog number based on how many calibration points are desired. You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to our certified calibration laboratory along with a work order form to specify your calibration points and prepaid return shipping label. Upon receipt at the laboratory your instrument will be inspected for any defects under a microscope and the performance of your instrument will be compared to certified standards and corrections to one-tenth of the smallest division recorded on your signed calibration report. Your calibration report and instrument are carefully repacked returned to you with prepaid standard ground shipping. We also provide expedited service options available upon request.
