These simple to use models calibrate to distilled water and require a sample of only 0.4mL. Instantly displays temperature in addition to multiple scales with the unit of measure indicated on the large LCD. The sophisticated microprocessor provides automatic calibration, automatic temperature compensation, automatic shutoff (after 3 minutes), and visual min./max. alarms. Low power consumption enables 5,000 readings, before the LCD indicates that the battery should be replaced. The water-resistant design protects the electronics from wet environments and allows for easy clean ups.
