Sterile AlphaSat® incorporates Texwipe's highly sorptive AlphaSorb® HC polyester wipers plus 70% IPA.
- Constructed from a unique two-ply, pinsonic fabric
- 100% knitted continous-filament polyester
Chosen for their low particle-generating characteristics and low extractable levels, these wipers offer superior strength in a continous-filament knitted substrate.
This wiper is saturated with a 0.2 μm filtered, 70% isopropyl alcohol/30% deionized water solution. Packaging permits alcohol wipedown of exterior bag before introduction of the inner bag into sterile suites. Gamma irradiated to 10⁻⁶ Sterility Assurance Level. Fibers (>100 μm) are 230 fibers/m². The isopropyl alcohol extractant is 0.09 g/m². The deionized water extractant is 0.05 g/m².
