Scrapers for scraping, spreading, removing residue, and mixing are supplied at Avantor. Choose triangular or rectangular blades with angled or chiseled edges. Polypropylene models in various sizes meet FDA requirements for food and pharmaceuticals. Select rigid or soft paddle scrapers with or without holes. Floor scrapers offer stainless steel blades, while plastic bench and countertop models feature seamless construction and are chemical resistant. Auto-Retractable Utility Scraper, Slice®

Until now, auto-retraction on scrapers was a noble but unrealistic idea. Any spring-loaded blade required the user to hold out a blade extension slider, absorbing all the kickback force directly into their thumb or finger joints. This design flaw is not a problem for a quick scrape, but it’s not ergonomically viable for long-term use. The Slice® SureScrape™ design changes that.
