QBI’s Water, Cell Culture, WFI Quality is high quality water for use as a solvent in the preparation of cell culture media and biochemical reagents.
This water is extensively purified by reverse osmosis, subsequently deionized and passed through a filter membrane to remove particles and tested to meet the specifications found in the USP (United States Pharmacopeia) monograph for Water for Injection (WFI) for conductivity, endotoxin,and TOC. It is additionally tested for sterility, mycoplasma, and cell culture performance.
This water is tested against USP specifications, but is not intended for injection. It is only intended for research or further manufacturing use, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
