Anti-HCV NS3 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

Supplier: Genetex

HCV is a positive, single-stranded RNA virus in the Flaviviridae family. The genome is approximately 10,000 nucleotides and encodes a single polyprotein of about 3,000 amino acids. The polyprotein is processed by host cell and viral proteases into three major structural proteins and several non-structural proteins necessary for viral replication. Several different genotypes of HCV with slightly different genomic sequences have since been identified that correlate with differences in response to treatment with interferon alpha.

Anti-MRPS27 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Proteintech

Genes encoding PPR (pentatricopeptide repeat)-containing proteins constitute one of the largest gene families in plants. The majority of these proteins are predicted to target organelles and to bind to RNA. Strikingly, there is a dearth of these proteins in mammals, although genomic searches reveal six candidates, all of which are also predicted to target the mitochondrion. One of these proteins, MRPS27is participated in transcription and translation respectively. MRPS27is a component of the small subunit of the mitochondrial ribosome that is encoded by the nuclear genome .

Anti-SNVsSgp1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-SNVsSgp1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

Sin Nombre virus (SNV) is a rodent-borne hantavirus of the family Bunyaviridae, an enveloped, negative-sense RNA viruses with a tripartite genome that can cause hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS). The hantavirus nucleocapsid protein plays several roles in viral replication and assembly, and is the major antigen in humoral responses in humans and mice. Within the bunyviridae family, the nucleocapsid protein also functions as an RNA chaperone facilitating the formation of the stable genomic RNA “panhandle” and is thought to aid in the replication of bunyavirus RNA.

Anti-DNMT3A Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 64B814]

Supplier: Genetex

Methylation of DNA at cytosine residues plays an important role in regulation of gene expression, genomic imprinting and is essential for mammalian development. Hypermethylation of CpG islands in tumor suppressor genes or hypomethylation of bulk genomic DNA may be linked with development of cancer. To date, 3 families of mammalian DNA methyltransferase genes have been identified which include Dnmt1, Dnmt2 and Dnmt3. Dnmt1 is constitutively expressed in proliferating cells and inactivation of this gene causes global demethylation of genomic DNA and embryonic lethality. Dnmt2 is expressed at low levels in adult tissues and its inactivation does not affect DNA methylation or maintenance of methylation. The Dnmt3 family members, Dnmt3a and Dnmt3b, are strongly expressed in ES cells but their expression is down regulated in differentiating ES cells and is low in adult somatic tissue. Dnmt 1 co-purifies with the retinoblastoma (Rb) tumour suppressor gene product, E2F1, and HDAC1. Dnmt 1 also cooperates with Rb to repress transcription from promoters containing E2F binding sites suggesting a link between DNA methylation, histone deacetylase and sequence-specific DNA binding activity, as well as a growth-regulatory pathway that is disrupted in nearly all cancer cells.

Anti-C4orf46 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 680)

Supplier: Bioss

Representing approximately 6% of the human genome, chromosome 4 contains nearly 900 genes. Notably, the Huntingtin gene, which is found to encode an expanded glutamine tract in cases of Huntington's disease, is on chromosome 4. FGFR-3 is also encoded on chromosome 4 and has been associated with thanatophoric dwarfism, achondroplasia, Muenke syndrome and bladder cancer. Chromosome 4 is also tied to Ellis-van Creveld syndrome, methylmalonic acidemia and polycystic kidney disease. Chromosome 4 reportedly contains the largest gene deserts (regions of the genome with no protein encoding genes) and has one of the two lowest recombination frequencies of the human chromosomes. The C4orf46 gene product has been provisionally designated C4orf46 pending further characterization.

Anti-cas9 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (DL680)

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

The Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR) and CRISPR Associated (Cas) system was discovered in bacteria as a defense against foreign DNA, even being believed to act as a sort of prokaryotic immune system. The Cas9 protein is becoming a a useful tool in the field of genomic editing for its ability to induce site-directed double strand breaks in DNA. It can cleave almost any sequence complementary to the guide RNA and has recently been used for modifying the genome of human embryos for the first time.
