Anti-B4GALT7 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 680)

Supplier: Bioss

Beta-1,4-galactosyltransferases (beta-1,4-Gal-T) are type II membrane-bound glycoproteins that are substrate-specific and function to transfer galactose in a beta-1,4 linkage to an acceptor sugar. There are seven members of the beta-1,4-Gal-T family, all of which are directed to the golgi apparatus through a hydrophobic sequence at the N-terminus. Beta-1,4-Gal-T7, also known as B4GALT7 or XGALT1, is a 327 amino acid single-pass type II membrane protein that is expressed at high levels in heart, pancreas and liver. Beta-1,4-Gal-T7 uses manganese to catalyze the UDP-dependent biosynthesis of glycosphingolipids. The gene encoding beta-1,4-Gal-T7 is mutated in Ehlers-Danlos syndrome progeroid type (EDSP), a variant form of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome characterized by progeroid facies, mild mental retardation, short stature, skin hyperextensibility, moderate skin fragility, joint hypermobility principally in digits. Beta-1,4-galactosyltransferases (Beta-1,4-Gal-T) are type II membrane-bound glycoproteins that are substrate-specific and function to transfer galactose in a beta-1,4 linkage to an acceptor sugar.

Anti-GALNT6 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-GALNT6 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

GALNT6 is a member of the UDP-N-acetyl-alpha-D-galactosamine:polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase (GalNAc-T) family of enzymes. GalNAc-Ts initiate mucin-type O-linked glycosylation in the Golgi apparatus by catalyzing the transfer of GalNAc to serine and threonine residues on target proteins. They are characterized by an N-terminal transmembrane domain, a stem region, a lumenal catalytic domain containing a GT1 motif and Gal/GalNAc transferase motif, and a C-terminal ricin/lectin-like domain. GalNAc-Ts have different, but overlapping, substrate specificities and patterns of expression. GALNT6 is capable of glycosylating fibronectin peptide in vitro and is expressed in a fibroblast cell line, indicating that it may be involved in the synthesis of oncofetal fibronectin. This gene encodes a member of the UDP-N-acetyl-alpha-D-galactosamine:polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase (GalNAc-T) family of enzymes. Anti-CHST11 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Bioss

Catalyzes the transfer of sulfate to position 4 of the N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) residue of chondroitin. Chondroitin sulfate constitutes the predominant proteoglycan present in cartilage and is distributed on the surfaces of many cells and extracellular matrices. Can also sulfate Gal residues in desulfated dermatan sulfate. Preferentially sulfates in GlcA->GalNAc unit than in IdoA->GalNAc unit. Does not form 4, 6-di-O-sulfated GalNAc when chondroitin sulfate C is used as an acceptor.

Anti-B4GALNT2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-B4GALNT2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Proteintech

B4GALNT2, also named as GALGT2, catalyzes the last step in the biosynthesis of the human Sd(a) antigen, which is found on more than 90% of Caucasian red blood cells. It also catalyzes the last step in the biosynthesis of the Cad antigen, which is related both serologically and biochemically to the Sd(a) antigen. B4GALNT2 transfers a beta-1,4-linked GalNAc to the galactose residue of an alpha-2,3-sialylated chain. This antibody detects the 55-65 kDa B4GALNT2 protein.
