This gene encodes a member of the CD2 family of cell surface proteins involved in lymphocyte activation. These proteins are characterized by Ig domains. This protein is expressed in lymphoid tissues, and studies of a similar protein in mouse suggest that it may function during B cell lineage commitment. The gene is found in a region of chromosome 1 containing many CD2 genes. [provided by RefSeq].

Anti-SEMA6A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy3®)
Supplier: Bioss
SEMA6A belongs to a subfamily characterized by an extracellular semaphorin domain, a transmembrane domain, and a long cytoplasmic tail. Members of this class can repel sympathetic and dorsal root ganglion axons in vitro, consistent with a traditional role as guidance signals. However, the length of the cytoplasmic tail, which includes an EVL-binding site in SEMA6A and an Src-binding site in SEMA6B, suggests that these semaphorins may also function as receptors. SEMA6A is expressed in developing neural tissue and is required for proper development of the thalamocortical projection. SEMA6A directly links the Ena/VASP and the semaphorin protein families since the SEMA6A protein is capable of selective binding to the protein EVL (Ena/VASP-like protein.

Anti-OXSR1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy3®)
Supplier: Bioss
OXSR1 is a serine/threonine kinase which regulates downstream kinases in response to environmental stress such as osmotic stresses, notably sorbitol and, to a lesser extent, NaCl. OXSR1 phosphorylated thr84 within the N-terminal regulatory domain of PAK1. Replacement of thr84 with gln reduced activation of PAK1 by an active form of the small G protein CDC42, suggesting that phosphorylation by OXSR1 modulates the G protein sensitivity of PAK. OXSR1 interacts with chloride channel proteins SLC12A6 isoform 2, SLC12A1 and SLC12A2 but not with SLC12A4 and SLC12A7, possibly establishing sensor/signaling modules that initiate the cellular response to environmental stress. Binds to and phosphorylates RELL1, RELL2 AND RELT. OXSR1 may have a role in regulating the actin cytoskeleton.

Anti-AMPH Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy3®)
Supplier: Bioss
Amphiphysin is associated with the cytoplasmic surface of synaptic vesicles. A subset of patients with stiff man syndrome who were also affected by breast cancer are positive for auto against this protein. Alternate splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants (Amphiphysin 1 and Amphiphysin 2) encoding different isoforms. Additional splice variants have been described, but their full length sequences have not been determined.

Anti-PHGDH Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy3®)
Supplier: Bioss
The survival and development of central neurons require the supply of trophic factors by glial cells. The trophic actions of glial cells on Purkinje neurons are mediated by L-serine and glycine, which are glia-derived trophic factors synthesized by 3PGDH (1). 3PGDH protein is 544 amino acids in length. Two distinct mRNA transcripts that encode for 3PGDH protein in normal human tissues are dominant 2.1 kb mRNA, which is highly expressed in prostate, testis, ovary, brain, liver, kidney, and pancreas, and weakly expressed in thymus, colon, and heart, and 710 bp mRNA, which is highly expressed in heart and skeletal muscle (2). 3PGDH is regulated at the transcriptional level depending on tissue specificity and cellular proliferative status (2). 3PGDH protein is also highly expressed in adult and fetal brain tissues (3). 3PGDH protein plays an important role in the metabolism, development, and function of the central nervous system (3) and its deficiency is a treatable congential error (4-5) that impairs L-serine biosynthesis which is characterized by congenital microcephaly, psychomotor retardation, and seizures (3).

This gene encodes a non-receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the Tec kinase family. The protein contains a PH-like domain, which mediates membrane targeting by binding to phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-triphosphate (PIP3), and a SH2 domain that binds to tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins and functions in signal transduction. The protein is implicated in several signal transduction pathways including the Stat pathway, and regulates differentiation and tumorigenicity of several types of cancer cells. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified.[provided by RefSeq, Sep 2009].
