Foerster Forceps, also known as Foerster sponge forceps or Foerster-Ballenger forceps, are a surgical instrument commonly used in medical procedures like gynecology and obstetrics. These forceps are named after the German surgeon Heinrich Foerster. The primary purpose of Foerster forceps is to grasp and hold surgical sponges or other materials.
