Safe and easy distillation system. The optimal system for performing cyanide, phenol, and ammonia distillations following established EPA methods 335.4 and 350.1, and Standard Methods 4500-CN-C and 4500-NH3.

The distillate is collected in a disposable trap, and does not require the use of a chiller or water lines. The sample boils in the glass boiling tube, and the gas is pulled by vacuum into the trap where it is collected. A hydrophobic porous frit in the trap prevents solution from flowing back into the boiling tube. When complete, the trap is removed and the contents are ready for analysis. System comes complete with everything for analysis.
