LeStreak® Microstreakers, Decon Labs

LeStreak® Microstreakers are used to inoculate or transfer microbiological samples

• Small LeStreak® loop: Int.Ø 2.26 mm

• Medium LeStreak® loop: Int.Ø 2.91 mm
• Large LeStreak® loop: Int.Ø 3.57 mm

Decon’s LeStreak® microstreakers are loops made of high-quality, twisted nichrome wire that is permanently attached to lightweight, insulated handles which are perfectly balanced for easy manipulation. LeStreak® microstreakers slide smoothly across the agar surface with out tearing or gouging the medium. The nichrome wire cools rapidly after flaming.

The 1 and 10 µl (0.001 and 0.01 ml)) calibrated inoculating LeStreakers are individually calibrated in accordance with ASM/APHA via Evans blue dye test which is a CAP approved method. Calibration certificates are sent with calibrated loops or are available from Decon labs.
