This EMS Xylene Substitute solution is specially designed for use in processing and staining histological/cytological specimens. It is essentially odorless with low toxicity, less irritating to the skin than xylene- and d-limonene-based clearants. It can be substituted for xylene and can be used with almost all tissue processors and automated slide stainers.

Xylene substitute for histology and cytology is a safer alternative to xylene. Can be used as a solvent and clearing agent, as well as for dissolving paraffin waxes, glues and adhesives. It can be used in all procedures that require xylene.
