Mounted on a heavy cast-iron triped base, the spectrometer has excellent bearings for smooth, precise operation of the telescope, table, and divided circle and a 5mm slit mechanism. The instrument comes with a prism, a 300 lines/mm replica grating and holder, an autocollimation mirror, a power supply, adjustment tools, and a full instruction manual. Size: base spread 24cm, overall height 26cm.Built-in features include:• An illuminated autocollimation system for easy, rapid setup to ensure correct optical alignment of the instrument• A 2.2cm diameter achromatic optical system with a helical focuser for eyepiece accommodation to give clear, sharp images• A 17.8cm diameter, 360° x 0.5° divided circle with clear graduations and a double-ended inside vernier 0–30' x 1', equipped with an illuminated magnifier for easy reading.
