Mini-Lab condenser and analytical still head combination

By closing the glass stopcock, the apparatus serves as a reflux condenser; with the stopcock open, it serves as a still head for Claisen type distillation. Top standard taper 14/20 outer joint can be used for a thermometer or for insertion of a cold finger condenser. Bottom joint is standard taper 14/20 inner. Side vent enables the head to be used in vacuum distillation. Jacketed section is 140 mm in length. Use with 3/8-inch or 5/16-inch I.D. tubing, size C hose connection. Fabricated from borosilicate glass.
