The compact Microfuge® microcentrifuge features a brushless-induction drive, 13-second acceleration and deceleration to/from maximum speed, an automatic, motorized closure system with a safety auto-lock, an air-cooled rotor bowl, a large display with push-button entry, and an automatic lid release upon completion of sample runs.

Runs may be set to pulse, timed (one-second increments), or continuous, while speed may be set to standard or soft start/stop in 100 rpm increments. Polypropylene rotors are autoclavable and supplied with a polypropylene, snap-on lid.
