About this item
Convenient and reliable concentration, purification, and diafiltration of 15 to 60 ml biological samples.
- Omega™ modified PES membranes come in a wide range of MWCOs, color-coded for easy identification and result in typical recoveries of >90%
- Unique sealing mechanism prevents retentate leakage and filtrate contamination
- Low protein-binding Omega membrane and polysulfone housing minimize losses due to non-specific binding
- Economical - Sample reservoir and filtrate receiver can be sanitized and reused
For smaller samples use Pall Nanosep®, Microsep®, or Macrosep® centrifugal filters.
Jumbosep® Centrifugal devices with Omega (modified polyethersulfone) membrane can replace dialysis, chemical precipitation, and lyophilization in many applications.
The versatile Omega membranes for ultrafiltration are ideal for concentrating and desalting proteins, exchange buffer or removing salt of chromatography eluates and gradient factions. Other applications include concentrating or removing viruses, performing crude fractionation of dilute protein mixtures, and removing debris and particulates from cell lysates. A built-in deadstop feature prevents samples from spinning to dryness.
