The user interface has a two-level intuitive menu for simple control, and is extremely easy-to-use thanks to its fully graphical text display. A multilingual graphical interface is offered in seven languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, and Swedish. Unique backlight technology distinguishes the display by eliminating surrounding light reflections and improving contrast. The result is a graphical display with excellent clarity, even in low light conditions such as safety cabinets and fume hoods. A lightweight, long life battery can be fully recharged in only one hour, while a long, unobtrusive cable permits use of the instrument during recharging. Pipettors can even be personalized with their own name, which is displayed on the screen when the instrument is not in use.
