Tip definitions, pipetting techniques, and templates are built into Biomek® software. For best in total system performance, use only Beckman Coulter® validated pipette tips on Biomek® workstations.

Products that are designated as Sterile are either sterilized using Gamma radiation or ethylene oxide (EtO) gas in accordance with ANSI/AAMI/150 11135 or ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11137 guidelines. The sterilization processes certify a sterility assurance level of 10-6. Biomek® P30, P30XL, P20, P50, and P250 tips are EtO gas-sterilized for critical low-volume pipetting performance.

Tip racks are color-coded and matched in Biomek® software for easy-to-identify visual checks during method development and confirmation of the deck before a run.
