Hydrophobic transfer membranes made of high quality PVDF, which provides high binding capacity for proteins and nucleic acids.

Ideal for colorimetric and chemiluminescent detection
Resistant to discoloration and have better retention of absorbed protein
Lower background levels and increased sensitivity for fluorescent probing

Compatible with most organic solvents, acids and mild bases; doesn't tear or become brittle like nitrocellulose.

PVDF membranes offer a better retention of adsorbed proteins than other supports and are ideal for Western, Southern, Northern, and dot blots.
