Pipettors are designed for easy in-lab calibration and servicing, and have a fully autoclavable tip cone to ensure sterility and avoid cross-contamination. The two-level intuitive menu and fully graphical text display provide simple control. A multilingual graphical interface is offered in seven languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, and Swedish. Unique backlight technology distinguishes the display by eliminating surrounding light reflections and improving contrast. The result is a graphical display with excellent clarity, even in low light conditions such as safety cabinets and fume hoods. The battery can be fully recharged in only one hour, while a long, unobtrusive cable permits use of the instrument during recharging. Additionally, the pipettor can be personalized with its own name, which is displayed on the screen when the instrument is not in use.

The lightweight construction helps to prevent upper body stress and strain, allowing the user to work longer without fatigue. Features include a solid handle shaped to fit comfortably and securely in the hand and a finger rest that can adjust over 120° for optimal positioning.
