The barrier formed by an ART filter is so secure it even prevents 7.2 million counts of 32P from breaking through. The purity of ART Tips is achieved by constant control against contamination from any source. Electron beam sterilization is used because it ensures total disruption of any molecules amplifiable by PCR. ART Tips are designed to draw and dispense the full volume of the tip and the fine point design is an additional feature to ensure that samples can be drawn and dispensed with accuracy.

These tips feature an ultra-micro style for the Eppendorf Reference and Research series pipettors.

Tips are compatible with Eppendorf 2000/4910 Reference 0.5 tp 10 µl, Eppendorf 2100/4900 Research 0.5 to 10 µl, Eppendorf 2000/4910 Reference 2 to 20 µl, Nichiryo/BenchMate 0.5 to 10 µl and Brinkmann Transferpette Multichannel 0.2 to 20 µl.

The unique seal protects the pipetting device from any possible contamination that could carry over and compromise future samples. The ART barrier traps contaminants, keeping them out of pipettors and samples. This also protects the sensitive inner components of the pipettor, prolonging pipettor life. ART Tips are ideal for critical uses such as PCR, sequencing, loading gels, handling infectious samples and pipetting radioactive isotopes.
