In vivo-style electrodes are designed specifically for muscle gene delivery
Kit 22221-522 is recommended for larger muscle masses, such as rat gastrocnemus. Kit 22221-524 is recommended for smaller muscle masses, such as mouse tibialis.
Electrodes may be used with electroporators 58018-004, 58017-932, and 58017-984. The ECM®/Enhancer series (82019-182) is recommended for monitoring the electrodes.
Electrode consists of a reusable Delrin® plastic handle and a sterile, disposable two-needle array assembly. Needle array assemblies are packaged in “six packs,” allowing for guaranteed sterility. Needles are made of medical-grade stainless steel.
Ordering information: Kit 22221-522 includes a 10mm diameter two-needle array handle and a sterile package of six electrode assemblies with 10mm spacing. Kit 22221-524 includes a 5mm diameter handle and a sterile package of six electrode assemblies with 5mm spacing.
