This borosilicate glass X-Large Soxhlet extraction apparatus is used for the continuous extraction of solids with a suitable solvent.

Complete units are supplied with a round bottom boiling flask (14211-116 or 14209-000), a Soxhlet extraction tube (70mm or 100mm approx. I.D.) and an Allihn condenser. The extractor capacity is the solvent volume held in the extractor to the top of the siphon tube. The extractor has a standard taper outer joint at the top for connection to the condenser and a standard taper inner joint at the bottom for connection to the flask.
