PC Erlenmeyer flask with flat or baffled bottom are equipped with seal caps or vent filter caps. The whole collection of Erlenmeyer flasks are sterile and enzyme-free, and are intended for the culture of suspended cells and bacteria.

In the culture process of mammalian cells and insect cells, the cells show strong viability and high protein expression in Erlenmeyer flasks, baffled. The groove at the bottom forms a vortex that accelerates the reagent flow to improve the oxygen exchange rate between the surface and the outside for higher dissolved oxygen content.
