Made from PTFE with substantial shoulder for ease of handling. Robust overall construction allows for repeated use. Sleeves and adapters are inert and usable to 280°C (536°F). The high vacuum performance is obtained using trapezoidal sealing rings on the contact surfaces. Leakage rate is less than 1x10^–4 Torr.
