Disposable plastic cassettes hold tissue specimens during processing, embedding, and storage
A special hinge holds the base and lid together and allows cassettes to be opened and closed as often as necessary. The lid can be removed and reinserted easily without the danger of specimen loss. Anterior surface is slanted at a 45° angle for use with leading labeling instruments. Three frosted writing surfaces. Cassette colors are non-cytotoxic and non-metallic.
Most convenient for cassette labeling instruments, as the lids are packaged separately in the case. They are molded from a special, high-density acetal polymer and are completely resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents. Cassettes keep specimens safely submerged in liquid while the efficient flow-through slots maximize fluid exchange and ensure proper drainage.
Ordering information: Each case contains two dispenser boxes of 500 cassettes and one dispenser box of 1000 lids.
