Distribution Pump

The distribution pumps draw treated water from the storage tank and fill an air-pressurized water tank. Two distribution pumps are included to allow for automatic backup operation if one pump should fail. Normally, the pumps alternately operate every two hours to prevent stagnant conditions in either pump.

Distribution pump temperature sensor: A temperature sensor is connected to both distribution pumps to monitor the temperature of the water leaving the pumps. The temperature of the water is then transmitted back to the RO controller.

Distribution pump pressure sensor: A pressure sensor is connected to the distribution pumps to monitor the pressure in the pressure tank. The pressure value is then transmitted back to the RO controller.
