All Type-K probes may be used with liquids, air/gas, and semi-solids. Stainless steel probe has a 22.9 cm (9") stem with a 3mm (¹/₈") diameter and a 102 cm (40¹/₈") cable. Beaded probe is 1.5mm (¹/₁₆") in diameter and features a 1.2m (4') fluoropolymer resin cable. The low-temperature stainless steel probe has a diameter of 4.3mm (³/₁₆") and features a 30.5 cm (12") stem with a 12.7 cm (5") handle. Low-temperature probe is supplied with a 2.4m (8') expandable cable. High-temperature probe features 3m (10') braided metal wire cable with a smooth tip and measures 5mm (³/₁₆") in diameter.

Certifications: A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate thermometer traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Ordering information: Supplied with two fast-response Type-K beaded probes (61161-372), a vinyl carrying case, and a 9V battery. Additional probes that achieve the high end of the temperature range are available upon request; contact your Avantor sales representative for more information.

Services: VWRCATALYST™ provides convenient and efficient re-calibration services for your digital thermometers with an industry leading 5-day average turn-around time from receipt of your instrument. All the service will be performed by an ISO17025 certified lab. Recalibration, certification and shipping fees are all included in the catalog number cost. Simply order the stated catalog number based on how many calibration points are desired. You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to Avantor's certified calibration laboratory along with a work order form and a prepaid return shipping label. Upon receipt at the laboratory your instrument will be inspected for any defects and the performance of your instrument will be compared to certified standards. After re-calibration, your calibration report and instrument will be carefully repacked then returned with standard ground shipping. We also provide expedited service options available upon request.
