PureCube Amine Activated Agarose
About this item
PureCube amine activated agarose resin is your best option to couple biomolecules carrying free-standing carboxy (COOH) groups.
- Usage: Coupling proteins to active Amine Groups
- Specificity: Exposed carboxy (COOH) groups on biomolecule
- Amine group density: Higher than 20 µmol/ml
- Bead ligand: Chemically active Amine groups
- Bead size: 40 μm
- Filling quantity: Delivered as a 50% suspension
- Storage buffer: 100% isopropanol
- Matrix: 7.5% cross-linked agarose
- Short term storage: In neutral buffer at 4 °C
- Long term storage: 100 mM sodium hydrogen carbonate, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.5 at 4 °C or 20 mM sodium acetate, 20% ethanol, pH 6.5 at 4 °C
- Shelf life: If properly stored - 3 years upon delivery, unopened
- Chemical Structure: Amine structure
The resulting peptide bond between the Amine Agarose beads and your biomolecule of interest is stable so that the bead can be used for other applications afterward. Our PureCube Amine Activated Agarose is also available as magnetic beads if you prefer this purification method or as XL agarose resin if you need higher flow rates for your downstream application.
