Muffle Furnaces with Scale and Software, Tmax 1200 °C, L 9/12 SW or LT 9/12 SW, Nabertherm

These weighing furnaces with integrated precision scale and software, were designed especially for determining combustion loss in the laboratory. The determination of combustion loss is necessary, for instance, when analyzing sludges. Combustion loss is defined as the difference between the initial total mass and the combustion residue. During the process the software supplied records both temperature and weight loss.

Heating from two sides
Ceramic heating plates with integral heating element which is protected from fumes and splashing, and easy to replace
Only fiber materials which are not classified as carcinogenic according to TRGS 905, class 1 or 2 are used
Optional fold down door (L models) which can be used as work platform or lift up door (LT models) with hot surface facing away from the operator

These furnaces are equipped either with the B510 standard controller with touch screen display, featuring 5 freely adjustable programs and 4 segments and 2 extra functions or the optional C550 controller with touch screen display, featuring 10 freely adjustable programs and 20 segments and 2 extra functions.

These touch screen controllers are PID microprocessor controlled with a self-diagnostic system and integrated process documentation.

: Optional accessories such as a vent, vent with fan or catalytic converter to influence the weighing results, over-temperature limit controller with adjustable temperature cut out for thermal protection Class 2, in accordance with EN 60519-2 as temperature limiter to protect the oven and load, access port for thermocouple.

: Delivery includes base, ceramic plunger with base plate in the furnace lining, precision scale - four scales available for different maximum weights and scaling ranges and software package. The included standard scale is up to a weight range of 2200 g (less 850 g for the plunger) and has a readability of 0.01 g with a minimum load of 0.5 g. There are also optional scales with a weight range of 4200, 6200 or 12000 g available, please consult your Avantor representative for further information.
