The VACUUBRAND MD 1C +AK+EK chemistry diaphragm vacuum pump provides high flow rates at working vacuum levels to evaporate high boiling point solvents. Integrated solvent recovery includes an inlet catchpot to help keep condensed liquids and particles from the pump inlet and an outlet condenser/catchpot to collect condensed vapors exiting the pump. A three-stage design, with integrated gas ballast provides a high tolerance for condensible vapors. A full fluropolymer flowpath provides superior resistance to chemicals. Pump is oil-free, with typical service intervals in excess of 15,000 hours of operation (15 months of 24/7 operation). Suitable for many benchtop applications, such as rotary evaporation, gel drying, and small vacuum ovens.
