Electronic Cell Stirrer, FireflySci

Stirs cell contents while measuring absorbance or fluorescence. Fits all standard spectrophotometers and fluorometers with a 10 mm cuvette holder.

The sample is mixed by a tiny magnetic stir bar which is placed at the bottom of the cell. A small electronic rotation magnet assembly is placed under the cell in the cell compartment. This raises the cell up 5mm, which allows use of less sample volume, and will not interfere with the unit's operation.

Mixer rotation speed is controlled by an external controller, connected by a 36" long paper thin ribbon, allowing the instrument to close normally.

Ordering information: Each electronic cell stirrer comes with a P73 Magnetic stir bar that fits any 10×10 mm cell, and will stir up to 30 mm in internal height.
