The PTFE plug has a machined-in integral PTFE tip O-ring to make the primary seal.

• With two 9 mm O.D. side arms sealed to the barrel at a 180° angle to one another
• Viton® O-rings on PTFE shaft are protected with precision PTFE wipers

This design provides for an excellent vacuum tight seal without exposing any material other than PTFE to chemicals.
