Indicators like manganese helps in activating zinc silicate with green fluorescence in short-wave UV light (254 nm) and special inorganic luminescent pigment with blue fluorescence in long-wave UV light (366 nm).
SIL G glass plates with a layer thickness from 500 to 2000 µm are used for preparative TLC. SIL G-25 HR plates are coated with high purity silica 60, bonded with gypsum and a very small quantity of a polymeric organic binder. They are recommended for aflatoxin separations. SIL G-25 Tenside plates are impregnated with ammonium sulphate and are applied for separations of surfactants.
These highly robust plates and flexible sheets with gypsum and polymeric binder systems are well-suitable for every standard application.
