- Specific pore volume 0.75 ml/g
- Narrow fractionation of silica particles
Binders are stable in almost all organic solvents. The indicatior is manganese that activate zinc silicate with green fluorescence for short-wave UV (254 nm).
Allows sharper separations, shorter developing times and an increased detection sensitivity compared to standard silica gel plates.
